Endodontics
That
concerns the denervation of the tooth, ie the removal of the nerve
(pulp). Pulp is the soft tissue contains nerve fibers, blood vessels
and connective tissue.
Because deep decay or an injury, the pulp can be killed by creating intense pain to the patient and often can apostimatopoiitheito diseased tooth.
With root canal treatment we remove the morbid pulp, we clean the canal and is sealed tightly. Usually after the endodontic treatment, the tooth needs adding housing (crown).
In case of side canal may need to intervene to remove the tip of the root, usually lateral pipes shown since it is impossible to process.
